Terms of Service
1. The service
Tiptint designs nail sets with AI, previews the exact look you select on your own hand photo, and can create personalized at-home visual guides, salon handoff cards, and press-on sizing charts. Tiptint is a planning companion — results are previews, and you or your nail technician make the final call on feasibility.
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms add the rules for the Tiptint service.
2. Your account
Created automatically and tied to your Apple Account (or device key). You're responsible for activity under it. Without a subscription or purchased credits the app is a gallery: browsing, saving and inspecting the example guide are free; every generation costs credits.
3. Tiptint Pro and credits
Tiptint Pro is an auto-renewable weekly or yearly subscription with no free trial, billed through your Apple Account and renewing until cancelled in App Store settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Every creation costs credits: a design or refinement 1 credit, a try-on render 2 credits, a personalized DIY guide 2 credits. Each allowance period is one account-anchored calendar month and includes 30 credits; unused monthly credits do not carry over. Salon handoff cards, outfit matching and press-on sizing tools are included with Tiptint Pro. Eligible new subscribers to the weekly plan can start with an introductory first week at the introductory price shown in the app ($0.99 in the US); the yearly plan has no introductory price. The introductory week includes 5 credits — one complete first set — and your first full month of 30 credits starts at the first renewal. Your first verified paid activation establishes the monthly renewal day and time (or the last day of a shorter month). Continuous weekly or yearly renewals do not move that date; after a genuine subscription lapse, a later paid reactivation starts a new allowance month. A failed provider generation returns the credits; reopening saved content never costs credits again.
Anyone may buy a consumable pack of 10, 30 or 50 credits. Purchased credits buy the same creations at the same prices (designs, refinements, try-ons and DIY guides), work with or without a subscription, are spent after any included monthly credits, do not expire, and remain available after subscription cancellation. Apple's Restore Purchases does not regrant consumables, but credits already verified and recorded to your Tiptint account remain associated with that account. Prices are shown in your local currency before purchase; billing and refund requests are handled by Apple.
4. Acceptable use
Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to generate unlawful or harmful content. AI requests are subject to the providers' safety filters; we reserve the right to suspend service for violations of these terms.
5. Your content
You own your photos and keep ownership of generated designs, renders, and personalized DIY guides to the extent permitted by law; you grant us the license needed to store them and display them to you. Hand photos are never stored (see the Privacy Policy). "Help me choose" comparison images shared without Tiptint Pro carry a small Tiptint watermark, and salon briefs you export end with a small Tiptint footer and a QR code to tiptint.app.
6. AI output
Generated designs, try-ons, and personalized DIY guides are created by AI (Google Gemini) and may occasionally be inaccurate, infeasible, or differ from a finished manicure. Follow product labels, keep uncured gel off skin, stop if irritation occurs, and seek a qualified professional when needed. The output is provided "as is" without warranties; to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
7. Termination
You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Account → Delete account. Account deletion permanently removes unused purchased credits with the rest of the account data; cancelling a subscription does not. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it in App Store settings. We may suspend service to accounts that violate these terms.
8. Changes, transfer & law
We may update these terms with in-app notice. If the service is acquired, these terms transfer to the successor. Governed by the laws of your country of residence where required, otherwise the operator's jurisdiction. Questions: support@tiptint.app · tiptint.app/support.
